On May 12, 2026, Los Alamos County held a groundbreaking ceremony for Atomic Fiber. Here are some pictures. On June 8, the Los Alamos Daily Post published two pictures of the work that is under way.
I attended the event and spoke to representatives from each of the ISPs that will offer service over the new network.
The next event I plan to attend will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate connecting the first customers on September 24, 2026.
